Multiple Swimmer lessons
Hello Fellow Swimmers!
Working with multiple students can be very rewarding, seeing how they encourage each other. The improvement may also be faster than having a solo lesson.
Often, the swimmers are at a similar level, and they are working on the same skills. When this is the case, they tend to share how they are feeling, with the other students. This happens with both my adult and children students, which is so amazing!
When the swimmers are at a different level, it can help in interesting ways. The higher level student often encourages the lower level students, and gives praise when the lower level swimmers achieve a goal. Being at a higher level also gives them an opportunity to demonstrate technique for the other students.
In rare cases, the difference in level is too great, or the upper level student may regress. In these cases, splitting up the class is the best option.
